How to loose weight- the natural way!

Hey everyone! Wow I haven't posted for agggeeesss. Well how are you all? If you have been wondering how to get more healthier and to loose weight you have come to the right place. In this blog post I will be sharing the exercise part of becoming more fit and healthy. Please note more blogs about the same subject will be coming soon so please continue to check in to see these posts. Okay, here we go...

Now losing weight is not easy. But if you are a child and feel worried or unhappy about your weight its easier to loose weight. As children are younger the soft fat is easier to burn. When you get older that fat becomes more hard and dry which is harder to get rid of. So if you do feel unhappy of your weight as a child then I would definitely suggest you start to loose it now as later it will be too late.

What exercise does for you:
Exercise is a vital key for a healthier body. It helps you just get into a healthier body shape and decreases the chance of obesity. It also helps to get things off your mind. Stress for example is not good for your body and by exercising you will help yourself focus on your exercise other than your stress.

TYPES OF AFFECTIVE EXERCISE FOR THE BODY
1. SWIMMING:  Swimming is one of the bests exercises out there. It is a great way to strengthen your arm muscles and lug muscles while working on your improving your breathing pattern.

2.CYCLING:  Cycling is very good at strengthening your leg and thigh muscles while rotating your feet bones at a better angle (for women who wear high heels this is important as when you wear high heels the bones can turn out making bunions on the balls of your feet).

3 SKIPPING:  Okay this, in my personal opinion, is the best form of exercise. It targets everything from your head to your toes. It produces muscles in your arms and legs and the core of your stomach will shrink down a little with the burning calories. So get that skipping rope and get skipping!

4 DANCING: Dancing is a fun and slowly effective exercise. It depends on the type of dancing you do but even if you do a little jiggle you can burn 100 calories in 10 minutes!

5 WALKING: This is not only the 2nd best exercise there is- its also the most easiest one. Whether you are running jogging or walking you will loose about the same calories. So if you are tired don't tire yourself out by running take a little jog or possibly a walk :) .

So there you are: some exercises for you to try out x Oh, here are some tips I researched for you!

Most respectable health professionals recommend that to get the optimum results you should follow these tips:
  • Exercise, at least, three times a week.
  • For around 20 minutes a session.
  • Drink a lot of water.
  • Have at least one rest day a week
Tune in on Saturday for how to be healthier- the food way! I hope you enjoyed this post. Please don't forget to check out my peers post x Goodbye and have fun being more active! BYEE x

Reading Update!!

Heya!

So I haven't posted in ages because I've been busy with schoolwork and boring stuff like that, but I thought I'd come back with an update on what I'm reading and what I'm planning on reading veeerrry soon.

So at the moment I'm reading The Assassin's Blade by Sarah J. Maas. It's really good so far, but I haven't got that far through it yet.
It's a collection of novellas that make up the prequels to the series of Throne of Glass. I've only read Throne of Glass but I thought that it would be a good idea to read them now.

So I've come up with a new reading system that will help me to read more books on different mediums at the same time so that I can have an awesome monthly wrap-up!

So I'll obviously have a physical book that would be my main book that I read 100 pages a day of. Then I'll have an ebook on my phone (I'm getting a new one tomorrow!) which I'll read when I'm out and about but don't have internet, such as at Girl Guides and in restaurants. I'll also read a fanfiction on my phone but only when I have WiFi (This one and its sequels are really good if you like Doctor Who - and ship Whouffle). Finally, I'll have an audiobook that I'll listen to when walking to school etc.

The first ebook I'll get will be 'The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet' by Becky Chambers, which is a sci-fi novel about a group of characters on a spaceship and should be really interesting.

And the first audiobook I'll get will be 'Persuasion' by Jane Austen. It doesn't really need much explanation.

And that is my reading update and my new reading system. Thanks for reading and I'll see you in my next post!

Happy reading!

How to save energy

Hello it's me Sulaiman Aslam coming to do a environmental post.

So firstly you need to have knowledge on Environmental harmful stuff then you can develop that knowledge into doing. ( This is a useful website http://www.treehugger.com/)

Now you have that knowledge you can now do. Switch of anything electrical to save power. Even switch your light bulb to energy saving light bulbs.

Switch off your tablets, phones and TV's to save much more power and plus they need a break. Go out side, on your bike, make paper planes( yes it may be harmful to waste paper but if you put it into the right recycle bin you aren't wasting it you can use it again.

Now recycling. Recycling is very useful because when you use a cardboard cereal box or paper or general stuff , recycling helps us not to waste it but to re use it. So next thing to do is to put the right stuff in the right bin.

So that's it for today so see ya!

How I Read Tag

Hi guys!!

So I'm back with another book post and this time I'm doing the 'How I Read' tag. Hope you enjoy - let's go!

How do you find out about new books to read?

Well, I watch a lot of BookTube (a community of YouTubers who basically just talk about books - I definitely recommend it) so most of the books on my TBR right now are from there. I also read a lot of books from the Carnegie Medal listings - which is something that I'd really recommend if you're stuck on what to read next because the books on there are amazing - so I'm never stuck on what to read next. Ever.

How did you get into reading?

I know it sounds super cheesy, but I can't remember ever not being into reading. I was always top of the class for reading and I always had a book with me that was often advanced for my age. I always loved reading. Always. I never wasn't. I know that most people would say things like 'Harry Potter got me into reading' or 'I used to be really negative about reading but then I realised I really liked it' but I was just always into it.

How has your taste in books changed?

When I was younger, I used to only read contemporary books written in the first person, mostly Jacqueline Wilson, but now I mostly read YA fantasies or dystopian, as well as some contemporaries.

How often do you buy books?

Not often at all! I am seriously broke so I rely very heavily on libraries (God knows what I'll do if my library card fails or something...). I honestly buy books perhaps once every 6 months so this question isn't very interesting. Sorry.

How did you get into book blogging?

I've only just started! But I suppose I was inspired by all the BookTubers I watched. I've always wanted to do something like that but I can't have a YouTube channel so I guess this is second-best :)

How do you react when you don't like the end of a book?

I don't really do anything extravagant. I just kind of feel disappointed, put the book away and go to bed.

How often do you take a sneak-peek at the ending?

I sometimes take a peek at the last sentence of a book if I get bored whilst reading it and need a little extra hype to continue reading it. It doesn't really really reveal much though so I don't feel too bad about it.

So I hope you enjoyed this reading tag! I certainly enjoyed making it and am really excited to make more posts!

Happy reading!

School isn't that bad

Hiya, I wanna talk to you viewers about school.

So what if you hate school? It bores you to death, you can't focus and there is possibly an annoying person always talking about their favorite subject. So let's think of school as a shipwreck. You have now landed on an island 1000 miles from civilization. You're alone, it's extremely cold and your hungry. So you would think no school subject taught me how to survive a shipwreck. Well, maths, woodwork, textiles, and science are what you need to know but you need to teach yourself something. Something that you need to tell yourself. "I will get through this."

I always tend to think of something exciting to do after school and I wiz through all the work(DO NOT RUSH THE WORK) and as soon as school is done I get really excited.

Suggestions on what to do: Get all your blankets and pillows and even mattresses and jump onto them and bury yourself into them.

Make a DIY movie in the street using a projector. Lots more online so check them out!

Advice-School friends...

Hi guys x It is Aleena and I am going to do a post on some advice. As you can see the topic will be about school friends so for all of you who are stressing or worrying about school then you have come to the right place!!! Keep reading to find out more...

For all of you that have started secondary school or have moved school then it can be very hard to make friends. It can be very scary and hard but I am sure you can make friends with some advice and help.

You can have different types of friends; ones you can share a laugh with or ones where you can get in really deep with your problems. The number of friends you have isn't important. What matters is that you have a friend(s) and ones that wont try to hurt or bully you. You may be shy and won't want to go up to people but you need to build your confidence. I mean, they wont bite so there's no harm in saying hello or giving a friendly wave or smile at them. You can try to be involved with them. These things don't have the right to stop YOU making friends.

Things to remember:
  • It is scary going up to someone but you will soon gain confidence.
  • It is good to smile
  • If someone's friendly to you, be friendly back.
  • It can take time to make friends-it doesn't work in the blink of an eye
  • Don't be hard on yourself if you freeze up, there's always another chance.
So there's my little list of advice for you. I am sorry if this is a short post but my next post will be about bodily issues stuff so remember to tune in. Okay bye guys hope you have a lovely day! BYEEE

A guide to Super Mario Flash

Hello, people, I am going to do a guide on Super Mario Flash. Visit Friv if you cannot find it.

TOP TIP: Collect 100 coins and you will get a extra life, happens on many Mario Games so remember to collect as many coins.
Level 1: So level 1,  pretty easy but I guess when I was young it was pretty hard, so when you get to the second mushroom, you see nothing at all. Well, jump to get the mushroom and above will be a place to jump. After that, it will be pretty easy except those one blocked jumps.

Level 2: Level 2 is quite easy at the beginning but those platforms going above and the ones going down are hard. They come every 1 second so as soon as one comes wait for 1 second and jump. It doesn't matter if you go all the way to the top because you will fall on the next platform but only on the ones going above. The going down one are just jump.

So that's Level 1 and 2 and I will do the rest on my next post. See ya!!

Remember to check out Friv for more cool games

How to get healthy skin-the natural way

Hi guys... It's Aleena and I am going to share some advice with you all...

My piece of advice I will be sharing today is how to keep your skin nice and healthy. Please remember to check out my other peers blogs as well as it would mean the world to them. Thank you and enjoy my blog..

Skin is extremely important for good health, because it protects the rest of your body from germs and infectious. While many people want healthy skin because of the radiant appearance it provides, it can also be an indicator of overall health, and having healthy skin starts with having a healthy body. Skincare and anti-aging products are huge industries, but taking care of your skin has just as much to do with how you treat your body and what you put into it as it does what you put on it. I will be showing you some ways to get your skin healthier naturally.

1. Cleansing and moisturizing...
When you wash your skin you should do it often- but not too often. Your skin is covered in a layer of dead skin, oils and GOOD bacteria that can help harmful things from not entering your body. Showering EVERY SINGLE DAY strips away that layer which means you are more prone to bad things entering your body. You should shower every other day or at least every 3 days...

2. Pat your skin dry...
Instead of rubbing with a towel PAT dry with a towel then let the excess water air-dry. This insures you have a layer of oil to lock in moisture and will prevent dryness.

3.  Moisturize regularly...
When you moisturize you are keeping your skin nice and soft with prevents blemishes and spots. For a natural moisturizer is too apply olive oil, Shea butter or coconut oil to your face and gently rub in. Within a week your skin will be silky smooth and not dry...

4. Eat your fruits and vegetables...
Eat your veg and fruits because the more you eat your 5 a day everyday the better your skin will look. They contain vitamins and minerals that are very important for our natural diet and to keep your skin glowing and healthy. Make sure you eat lots of fruit and veg that are high in vitamin A, C and E.

5. DRINK LOTS OF WATER!
Okay the most important one on the list is TOO DRINK WATER. Lets think if it like this... your kidneys clean your blood. If they didn't have enough water they would not be able to properly clean it. Its the exact same for cleaning out your pores as well. Yu need enough water to clean out your pores effectively. Drink at least 4 BIG cups of water or 8 Small ones. The general rule is when your thirty just have a nice tall glass of water!

6.Exercise daily...
Exercise helps your skin because it improves circulation, increases the flow of nutrients to the skin, and removes dirt from the skin’s surface. Furthermore, it may also slow the skin’s aging process.[30]

7. Get enough sleep...
Sleep is important for many reasons, and healthy skin is just one of them. For one, when we sleep, our bodies secrete certain growth hormones, and this leads to collagen production.[34]

Well those are my 7 tips on how to get healthy-looking skin naturally. I am going to list down some most common questions and the answers too them:

Q1. How do I fix oily skin?
A1.You should wash your face regularly. That way, the oil decreases. Try avoiding sugar, because when it gets to the body, it acts as oil. Always drink water.

Q2.I have dry skin and am struggling with a rash. What can I do?
A1.Avoid washing that area more than once every couple days, as water and soap can strip your skin's natural oils and make the problem worse. If the rash does not go away after a week, go to a doctor or dermatologist to find out the underlying cause. You may have eczema, which can be alleviated with a lotion made specifically for eczema. When you do wash, use a gentle cleanser.

Those are 2 most common questions for you all. I hope you liked this post and don't forget to check us out weekly... Have a great day see you all on Thursday...

December Wrap-Up + 2017 Reading Goal

Hey guys!

I'm here today to talk a little about what books I read in December and the reading goal I have set for myself in 2017. There really isn't much to say except that I really do love reading and would delight in sharing the books I read with you! Let's get into the books...

Beautiful Broken Things - Sara Barnard
This is probably my absolute favourite book that I read all year! It follows two girls who slowly become best friends and really bond with one another. However, one of them is willing to go pretty far with ideas, and the other can do nothing but follow...
I thought this book was absolutely beautiful and I love how it explores the unique love between best friends and I definitely cried whilst reading this. I identified with the characters so strongly and I just think that this is an amazing book and that everyone should read it. 5/5 stars.

The Screaming Staircase - Jonathan Stroud
This was a really fun book full of action and mystery. It follows three teenagers who live in a world where children have special powers to detect ghosts or see ghosts or something like that. They have an agency (Lockwood and Co.) that deals with such things and are put on a dangerous and somewhat 'unsolvable' case...
Like I said, this was a really fun book full of action. It was the kind of thing that kept you on your toes and I reccomend it for those who prefer books that are full of action rather than description and whatnot. 4/5 stars.

Jinx - Sage Blackwood
This was a pretty good book. It follows Jinx, a young wizard's apprentice who was 'bought' by Simon the wizard. It follows him over the years as a wizard's apprentice until he begins to suspect that Simon wants more than just to teach him...
This book was gripping, it was interesting and I really loved how the writer portrayed the world, although it was a little monotonous in some places. 3/5 stars.

Thicker Than Water - Anne Cassidy
Okay so this was a SUPER short read so it took me a day. And I didn't really like it. The characters were not well developed and the story seemed to just happen rather than be read and lived. I guess my problem is that I just don't like short books - at least, not this short. Also I haven't read Of Mice and Men which it is based off of. 2/5 stars.

The Dog, Ray - Linda Coggin
This book was also quite short, but was told much better than the previous one. It follows Daisy, who has died in a car crash and has been reincarnated into a dog! It tells of her search for her parents and I really love her voice in the book and her point of view.
It's super engaging, though the the ending was a little unrealistic and may have been more difficult in real life. 3/5 stars.

The Book Thief - Markus Zusak
Now this was the big one! This book in one word: amazing. It's really, really good and I'm sure you've heard of it at some point or another. It follows a girl who lives in Nazi Germany and steals books, I suppose. It's really hard to pinpoint what it's really about, to be honest, but I loved it and tears were certainly shed at the end! 5/5 stars.
So those were all the books that I read in December 2016. In total, I read 55 books last year and I'm glad that I read them all, even if I didn't enjoy all of them. This year I'm keeping my reading goal the same - 50 books. I would increase it, but I feel as though I'm going to be a lot more busy this year so I'm going to be safe :)

Happy blogging (and reading),

How to be good environmentalists

Hello environmentalists, I am Sulaiman Aslam, and let's explore what makes the environmental health. So you know about non renewable energy and renewable energy sources.

Wood and wood waste
Municipal solid waste
Solar power(used on Solar Panels)
Wind power (used on Wind Turbines)

Non renewables:
Fossil fuels:
Natural Gases
Coal
Oil

Fossil fuels take millions of years to make because they are found in the ground.

Well I'll see you all next time! Peace out
